The Family – defined

Love is powerful but is not what defines the family…

The family is designed to protect the most vulnerable among us…children; by the one mother and one father who made them—together. The government should not define family but rather protect their rights from being infringed on. That family unit should not be broken apart whenever possible. No one in the family is interchangeable (would you be ok with swapping kids at the hospital?!) and no child should lose their parents…which for all of human history was recognized as a tragedy.

Children should not be subjected to trading of parents due to the desires of adults…no matter how much they are wanted and loved.

We need to MEND the broken family structure that has ignored and often harmed children, broken apart families before even conception, and upended our legal system to protect adult desires instead of the rights of children.

I am a passionate Christian but this argument about the design of families is inherent to any society, whether a Christian nation or not.

My desire in standing with this mission is to defend the children who can‘t fight for their own family unless someone else does it for them. It’s not to tear down any adult. And yet, we must fight to overturn Obergefell…for THEM.

I simply posted the website for the mission in this thread with my own thoughts rather than posting an article trying to represent it. I linked the Learn More section to help others engage in the hard questions that may follow.

Believe me when I say this is guided by love…but it’s focused on the children who are the most vulnerable in the equation.

The big fertility industry is not about protecting the children and it shows…they are missing even the most basic background checks for the ”parents” who are purchasing these children. We can’t effectively fight against that with our laws focused on adult desires!
